Jacob: What is shown from the patterns and similarities from all the varieties of one concept, can explain a lot about humanity. The different outlooks of the beginning of the world, is a very culturally influences. This can tell us about humanity back when these myths were written. All of the cultures wrote different myths that all have a common idea, but each of these countries wrote these myths without knowing that other countries were thinking the same thing. At the time that these myths were written, the culture influences the way that earth was made according to their religion and customs. Loraine Each myth is different from one another based on how it happened. The creator could have been either a male or female taking on separate rolls in its story. Man could have been created from separately from the creation of the earth in either a calm or chaotic. They had either traveled or created the earth or had descendants during the existence of the earth.their power where either shared or used bythemselves. Eachstory creates its own evolution. RJ: There are many stories of mythology, and some have similarities within them. All the stories we read about have males within them. This shows that males have been around since the beginning. This is because many people believe that man has been their from the start. As a result men dominates woman as of today, and has been since the beginning of time. Rebekah: The fact that four different groups of people from four different countries during different time periods all came to around the same conclusion about how we were created is significant for many reasons. First of all, these people had no way to communicate with each other so they couldn’t share stories or spread ideas. Then there’s the fact that their stories are so similar it seems as though they were all one story lost in translation and perceived in different ways. Similar to what happens to folklores and other myths. I can go on with more reasons showing the significance of this but they all boil down to one point. These groups, different yet similar in so many ways, all came up with similar ideas without collaboration or knowledge of the others beliefs which is remarkable. |
